Wield swords, Molotovs, frying pans, and more against occupying forces as a crow warrior alongside a crew of determined fuzzy friendlies. Battle thousands of opponents at once and claim strategic points to gain the tactical advantage. Neighbors coming together to defend the community is the founding principle driving Crow and their friends forward throughout their quest, and is a principle we as humans must remember as well. We hope Verminsteel in some small way inspires others to seek out their community and find where they can help, or even organize efforts themselves if need be.
Also if anyone's curious if this is what we've been working on ever since SkateBIRD? Well, no, not exactly. We spent a few years trying a bunch of different things, actually pitched two separate games, but neither got any traction. Maybe we'll talk more about it later, but gist is, Verminsteel isn't the product of like, 5 years of dev or anything. More like mmmm, year and a half so far as of date of announce? Give or take. Most of that was spent on foundational work, because it turns out Character Action-sphere games are super challenging to make. Fun though!
